Usually, if someone sues a whole bunch of people all over the place, the justice system will investigate them for being a "gator" (kind of a menace to the entire legal process).
Are statutes covering this in California? If so, then why does Big Media seem to be immune?
I may be a bit off base, but I don't want to send data over a signal that anyone with consumer level equipment can capture.
Let's see...
I spend a while just archiving your signal, then crack it at my leisure. Given enough time, some sensitive data is bound to pass through.
I'll stick to good ol wires thanks...
Turn on the command extensions under NT (the windowsnt help tells you how). With the extensions, you can use things like c:\progra~1.
I can verify that the MS-DOS subsystem has been updated by comparing mine (sp6) with the one on the NT4 cd.
With the Reskit, Cygwin, WSH and the command extensions, you get quite a versitile little prompt.
I first heard of Linux on OS/390 in 1998 while working with an MVS OS/390 machine for an insurance company. We looked at running a linux session under MVS (the OS/390's normal OS) as a subsystem. At the time OS2 ran as an MVS subsystem and IBM was doing the Linux research. Does anyone know the fate of the subsystem? C'mon and speak up blue guys. If you've ever used one of these beasts, It's a thrill and a half. We had a direct FDDI connection to our internal network and a dedicated dual Alpha Oracle box. Ah, the memories... $P anyone?

Isn't it remarkable that you can't reply to his editorial from the page? I guess they don't want anyone soiling a staffer's opinion.
