When I die, I want to give all my data to a charity.

Some will want to incinerate all their data and to send the ashes of their data to the ocean.

Interesting, Slashdot. Just a sec, I'll come up with other interesting and linspired topics ;)

I tried to emerge -k windowssp2, but the ebuild wasn't found.

Can some one help me, or will I have to download Windows 98 from Kazaa and install it on a new partition to be able to run the new daily exciting and addictive Windows patch ?

    Any help will be appreciated.

  4. Google needs money to release its operating system on Google Files for IPO · · Score: 1

Microsoft is about to integrate and advanced search engine integrated with Windows. This is aimed at competing strongly with Google, pretty much the way they integrated IE to Windows to beat Netscape.

Google developped an advanced robust Operating System that they use on their servers. With the money of the IPO, they'll be able to release it for public and compete with Microsoft.

No doubt the GoogleOS is better than Windows, very light, easy to use, very stable and compatible with Windows.

As I can see, 1st-world countries don't find it bad that Nike manufactures their shoes by teenagers and polluting developping countries with mercury, cyanide and chemicals. 8. Redundant articles, look for creativity Slashdot on Conectiva Linux 9 Review · · Score: 1

I'm tired of reading always the same stuff.
What's the point of grabbing articles from OSNews and Newsforge? Aren't there less known journals and web logs ?
There are so many other good articles that are not published here. Anyway...

Regarding Conectiva, I think that in Brazil people use it because it is in Portuguese basically. People who use Conectiva many times don't install it, IT people do it for them, whem it's used for call centers for instance. Then, why not just installing better distros with the default language pt_BR, it would be just better, and when you work with IT if you don't read English you're out of the race.
