  1. Re:No big problems here on Is A Catch-All Address Worth The Spam? · · Score: 3, Informative

I've had to shut off my catch-all, but not because of spam, but because of spoofed return-email addresses someone has been sending out with my domain name. My INBOX would be filled with bounce backs from email addresses some spammer was using that we're live anymore. He/she didn't have to deal with the bouncebacks, but they cause my mailbox to overflow. Shutting off my catchall address eliminated the boucebacks because the spammer wasn't using my "real" email address, just some made-up name at my domain.

  2. .mp4 on an iPod ? on QuickTime 6 Public Beta Available · · Score: 1

Any guesses as to when .mp4 playback comes to the iPod? It seems like such a logical next step that I'm almost ashamed to post about it. Does anyone know of any reason it couldn't happen? Soon that 1000 song toting iPod could carry a lot more music. Any idea how much more?

Keep up the nice work, Apple!

  3. 21 Dog Years - Better as a book on Amazon.Heartbreak · · Score: 1

I went to see this show in it's current run at the Cherry Lane Theater in NYC. If you've got the choice, read the book instead of seeing the show though. Mike Daisey's writing would be better served by an actor other than himself. He writes with whit and a biting and hilarious insight, but he's a very self-conscious performer and it really detracts from enjoying the material.

Keep writing, Mike. Just stay away from the stage.

  4. Re:New York State on Yahoo Knows Best, Resets Users' Marketing Prefs · · Score: 1

I'm really pissed off at Yahoo for this. Turning on my preferences for telemarketing (and all that other marketing noise) without notice should end up with Yahoo receiving a huge fine in my opinion. Interestingly, Yahoo has managed to safely hide THEIR phone number on their site. I've looked all around for it because I wanted to talk to a PERSON there and tell them how I feel. I guess they left their "consumer feedback" preferences to OFF.

  5. Dreamweaver vs. Go Live - Who's first? on Photoshop for OS X · · Score: 1

I need an HTML editor for OS X. I'm a Dreamweaver person, but can't wait on them forever. I may go with whichever program appears first for OS X.
