    That was hilarious. Probably one of the funniest HuffPo parodies I've seen in a long time. Although, to be fair, even they probably aren't quite that stupid. You might want to turn it down a few notches. Unless you were going for DailyKos or LGF. Then I'd say it was pretty spot on.

    Yeah, wasn't that weird? Java even more so, though. Java 2 is 1.2; Java 5 is 1.5. I haven't paid attention - are they still doing that? Personally, I was rather fond of SunOS 4.1.4.

    Does it make sense that we would elevate the creation of an interpreted C variant to the level of invention? It reminds me of a self-promotor type who was bending my ear with the tale of how his team "invented an XML" - meaning, they came up with an XML spec for their data.

    The NSA doesn't need to target an advertising network; they just need to run advertisements. For more control, they could buy up or create an advertising network. At that point, you've got little recourse because you agreed to all of this at installation or during use.

    If the system requirements have increased, it is a new operating system because it is likely to require hardware replacement.

    So XP SP3 was a new OS as compared to SP2.
