Sorry guys... my fault. My father once told me that he buried all the valuables in the backyard for "protection." He really thinks Y2K is going to leave us in a Mad Max nightmare. So anyway I tried to dig them out and apparently I cut the lines. Sorry.
How are they stripping people of choice? It's their product, if they don't want MS hacking into their messaging system, let them build up their own defenses... stupid defenses but defenses nonetheless.
Ok, so when Heather opens the bag in the middle of the bundle of sticks, she finds some bloody... stuff. It's like a freaking Rorshack test (however you spell that)... Everyone I've talked to has seen something different. I saw a nose, a finger below the nose, and two eyeballs... I've talked to people who have seen hearts, parts of a mouth, teeth, brains... god... everything. What was in there???
Can you envision the day when PORN will be hardwired into chips so there will be no delay between clicking on pam&tom.avi and seeing pam&tom.avi? I mean... man! I just can't wait. I can't wait to get my Houston 500 chip.
Can you hardwire a link onto a windows desktop wihtout knowing how the software will be installed, where it might be located, what options will be turned on? I don't know that much about chips, but it doesn't seem possible.
I almost threw up when they did that Heinnekhen ad... I could deal with the Virgin Atlantic banner, and even the Starbucks thing was ok because at least that was part of a joke... you know "Ha ha, they own part of starbucks, starbucks is evil." but the beer thing was just terrible. Just a flat out ad.
See? Not just me... I understand that it's silly to blame it ALL on the modem... but when they advertise 56.6k connection, then more than one percent of people should be able to achieve that connection.

I'm copyrighting you've got ale... I'm suing AOL.
What ever happens if they discover my cd recordings of MP3s... god, that's like 8 hours of music. Blank CDs will cost more than full ones.

I'm sure they're working on it as we speak.

My 56.6 modems have never even gotten connection speeds close to 56.6... I'm currently connected at 31.2. It's annoying.
Yeah, becaues wacko's with guns will definately be scared by a scanner... or they might just shoot the scanner operator. Either way.
