I'm curious to know which Dell laptop you own. My Inspiron 8600 runs for just over four hours on a single battery charge, with the internal wireless card on. While that time goes down substantially if I'm using the DVD player, I've still never had any trouble watching a feature length movie (~2-2.5 hours).
It's been a long time since I've seen Blake's 7, so forgive me if my memory is a little faulty on this point, but didn't the series end with Blake shot (by Avon), everyone other than Avon shot by the authorities, and Avon surrounded by said authorities defiantly holding a weapon? Given those circumstances, it seems a new series which remained true to the previous in more than name would be totally justified in only bringing back Avon. Of course, calling it "Blake's 7" with Blake dead seems a little sketchy.
...to do a diff on the Linux and BSD code bases to find all (if any) matching blocks of code. This code could then be shown to the "analysts" who have already seen SCO's "evidence". Even if nothing comes of this before the trial, as it is unlikely that a non-programmer analyst will remember the specifics of the code they saw, this sort of evidence could prove invaluable to the defence. Anyone out there familiar with both the Linux and BSD kernels willing to volunteer?
I think a cursory glance at the title page has caused a misunderstanding here. Read through page two of the document, and you will see that Cingular was an intervenor "in support of petitioners." Verzion is the petitioner, ergo Cingular sided with Verizon, not the FCC.
