Protocol isn't the issue. JS reduces the bandwidth and connections-per-second requirement on the server. If JS was implemented according to the strict spec it would be safe. The problem is dumb and lazy web designers who keep wanting to poke holes in the protection. Go to stackoverflow and look up the number of questions from people asking how to upload a file without bothering the user about it.
You know, I'm no fun of poor public decision-making but honestly turning off the data in underground public transportation seriously does not seem like that big of a deal to me.
If they had temporarily banned TV news crews from covering the protests "in the interest of public safety" would that be not such a big deal? After all, they are very intrusive, block emergency access, etc.
You should blame the flight attendants and their union. They drove AA into bankruptcy and routinely out negotiate the Pilots. Bizarre really. Despite all oftheir claims about being there for passenger safety, they have very little to do with it.
Flight attendants are making 20 - 80K depending on seniority, and the only battle going on is management trying to fire the older ones and somehow convince young people to come in and put up with low pay and horrible working conditions. Flight attendant pay accounts for less than 10% of the cost of your flight, fuel over 50%. I don't think unions had much to do with AA's problems.
I believe he is right. If someone wants to bomb, they will not warn you, they will just do it.
Wrong. The IRA routinely planted actual bombs AND reported them, because it caused just as much fear and disruption and didn't turn as many people away from them.
If you think about it, "up to" means "not more than". it's actually a negative feature, not a positive.
Doesn't Dropbox store unencrypted?
Actually it could be built for a lot less in my opinion. Much of the cost of these things is just lifting stuff up there,
A sufficient quantity of guncotton and the exigent development of a large-bore cannon could resolve this issue post-haste.

The open completed but no writes had taken place. A close was still necessary or you'd have an extra file handle.

Oh, you didn't mean dangerous to the researcher?
Is that like turning junk mortgages into gold?
Yes. It s sort of like the Tower of Babel. No two people speaking exactly the same language and left with massive confusion.
I'm curious to know how strong this password, used in multiple places really was.
Very strong. Instead of the usual 12345 he used 54321.

Why should the states have a say in either of those things when it is the US Constitution that guarantees individual freedoms?
