Apple has made modifications to gcc to support "Objective C++", which allows Objective C code to use C++ syntax and classes. Hopefully these changes will eventually be merged into the main gcc sources.
In essence, that's what my desktop looks like
every day - I'm just running BSD, X11 and an
ICA client to connect to several Win Terminal
Servers and/or Published Applications.
Using the proper setup, I can have IE, Word or
Outlook pop-up on my BSD looking EXACTLY as if
they were running off Windoze.
Yes, that includes elimination of X11 window
titles and resize buttons as well.
Again, what's the big deal? WHO knows how
those guys created those screenshots?

As a non-citizen, you will only be able to get
a driver's license, if you qualify for a social
security. That in turn needs you to have a valid
visa plus a working permit.
For a non-citizen who does not qualify for a
social security, and therefor for a driver's
license, an international driver's license
will suffice.

Thank you!
I will never understand how someone is able to
use "I'm audiophil" and "I use CDs" in one
sentence without choking to death. It's a
contradiction in itself.

You should have learned by now, that - whenever
there is something new on Weendoze, it's a
revolution.
It won't matter that it's a re-invention of the
wheel - as long as it's new to Weendoze - it's
new to "the world"... Just think back to the
time Microsoft introduced Terminal Services and
a few years before that, a GUI...

Take a look at that proposal by Ziemowit Laski ...
> That is, no user friendly desktop.
That's probably because GNUstep was never
designed or intended to be a desktop
environment.
GNUstep is an object-oriented application
development framework based on the original
OpenStep specification.
Comparing GNUstep with GNOME or KDE is like
comparing apples with tulips.
They are two completely different things.

I think that Linux desktop development should be watching Apple OSX, and use their GUI framework for something Linux could learn from.
... enter GNUstep ...
If you REALLY want a light-weight, forget about PWM, icewm or even blackbox ...
...
THIS and THIS shows what lightweight REALLY is when it comes to window managers.
All you need, nothing you don't
Come on, PC Mag just gave the "18th Annual Award ...
of Technical Excellence" to Weendoze XP
So, what does that tell us about PC Mag ???
Subject says it all.

Why, ever heard of the Lemming syndrome ?
Just started to play Icewind Dale a few days ago,
and so far (ok, ok, I already started playing Chapter 5) it rocks...
The engine's look & feel basically is the same as in BG/ToSC, but the graphics made my jaw drop even more - and the sound left me nearly speachless...
Now I'm waiting for BG2 and Pools of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor...
This is exactly what made me switch from LinSux to BSD ...
