NOPE no thunder here. Nope. Promise. Hey did anyone download some of that nifty ass free software that microsoft gives away from their website during the time that win2k was down due to the thunder?
that would prove they didn't lose power.
Besides? Why would they lose power? Aren't they the biggest software company in the world? Wouldn't they have generators to keep the happy web face of the HUGE CASH COW they got going up there in bumblefuque?
I know they probably think those most SANE people would move up here to WHITE TRASH HELL IN THE RAIN but I live here, and I know what the weather is like [see related post]: And it is NOT LIGHTNING IN WASHINGTON!

....& switches. Move to a rainy area. That's the Microsoft way.
Hey pal! I live in this godamned rainy area and I will tell you one thing:it is freeken killing me! Normally it is nice here during the summer. (thank god) but this summer, there have been two or three weeks of sun and the rest has been cloudy and rainy. Guess what? The leaves are already changin colors!
So next time all you folks wonder what the hell is up Microsofts ass. It is the freeken weather OK?

The moonlanding was a bunch of horseshit anyway. TV's first *real* big killer app (after the assasination of JFK) was shot out in the same section of California desert that all of our low budge televised faves we shot in. Like the Six million dollar man, the bionic woman, etc...
from what I understand (correct me please if I am wrong) is that the cultural context of linux in the US and the rest of the world is quite different. it seems that the *free* and *non-free* concerns are lessor in countries other than our own. I have heard that the concerns in other countries than our own are more based on technical merit of the distro rather than whether they comply with *free* or *non-free* status.
If this is the case, maybe we should harken back to basic anthropology classes to remember which lense we use to view linux phenomena outside of our own (may I say *narrow* viewpoint)

Actually apple is pushing it as a web server as well. In my opinion, I think they have never really known what to do with it. I have tried for the last two years to get Apple engineers to even admit that it exists (I work in education) they always tell me that AppleShare IP is the only way to go for every problem you have with Macs on a network. That to me shows they have had not focus for the product.
What the hell is it with Apple and crashing machines? I used to think (when I used apples) that computers just crashed!. Boy am I glad I was wrong. I work around tons of Macintoshes. Boy, if you want to know true performance take a look at OS 8.6 and its new, improved nanokernel Whats a nanokernel?? I installed this OS on one of my machines at work (an iMac) and watch its already miserable performance drop a good 40%. I then read somehwere (I think rumours) that it was sopposed to be that way, and really just felt like it was slower cos it was actully multitasking better than before. Whatever.... I think I will stick to Linux.
I have been going to hell.com for over a year now and I will say that they are pushing the envelope as far as html/design goes. It seems that you have only skimmed the site there because that place can keep you busy for hours and hours. You have to be on the 'guest list' to get any real content there, as they do private shows and 'web events'. While on the subject here is a list of sites promoting an alterative on the web:www.absurd.org www.snarg.net www.jodi.org www.superbad.com www.redsmoke.com enjoy...
I can't stop laughing thinking that someone thinks that OS X Server is faster than anything. On a 350 Blue and White G3 here at work (no tuning mind you) MacOS X Server runs so pathetically, I can only cry... Then laugh. Or is it laugh then cry? Dunno... But, really... I must be spoiled by linux by now, cos I found OS X Server sad: too little, too late. The PPC arch only has one hope: Get the LinuxPPC distribution rocking, delvelop like there is no tommorow, Tune for the CPU. -------
While I like Tom, and read his page, I found that he is without a doubt under the influence of certain hardware manufacturers. Because you cannot change the CPU voltage on the Asus board, something that is essential to overclocking sucessfully. He also says that the best TNT card is the Asus. Which is the hardest to find, the least supported, and the most expensive. So yeah. That stuff was funny. IT WAS SOPPOSED TO BE!!!
Keanu was sopposed to be that way. This is not Shakespere (thank god) nothing could be more boring. If you want Shakespere, go see '10 things I hate about you' and complain about how the book was much better than the movie.
btw: Shakespere on the stage seems was more forced and flat and wooden and laughable than Keanu.
hehe.

only the paranoid survive.
Apple sure as hell thinks it has a practical use. they wont let go of the damn thing and move on (OS X). nuff said.
Or we will find out that Aspartme was unleashed on an unsuspecting public to cause behavioral problems and other mental/emotional disorders.
ahhh.. just shutup and get coding.. :)

A: Hyperreal
B: Over exagerated.
C: kinda funny/cool that way.
