Maybe we can get a law passed that would allow us to take a percentage of the sale amount everytime our personal data is sold or transferred, much like the RIAA and MPAA plan to do with "their" content. Anyone have a workable micro-micropayment solution yet?
you obviously don't know much about what at&t does, they manage the secure networks for a lot of the largest finacial institutions in the world. So i am sure A LOT of people care about at&t.
being that not everyone lives in VA, you may not have noticed Va. race to the political right, this guy has about a smuch chance retaining his seat as i do of winning it. Va. harbors some of the counrties worst anti consumer GOP'ers in the country, remeber this was the first state in the country to pass UCTICA.
How do you figure they own the domains, are you implying that they own ever combiniation of letters and characters, thats ludicrous. They were created to ADMINISTER the domain name system not to own the fucking thing. If they really did own them why can't they then decide who gets use of a domain name? If they were legal property they would have the absolute right to decide who gets to use www.gm.com, but guess what the don't.

The washington post did an article about 2-3 years ago, the entire group/artist gets about $1 for every CD sold.
I wonder if this is the first actual slashdotted phone number?
I guess they just used the Redneck hotline.
