Well, I missed the original story, so I don't mind the duplication. As for the actual substance, traditional soap bubbles are multicoloured, swirly and beautiful anyway. Monocoloured bubbles look very boring by comparison. What a waste of effort!
Yup, all the Americans pay for their oil is cost plus tax. Oh, wait, what about those ships protecting tanker lanes, troops in Iraq, subsidies to oil companies, tax breaks for refineries, etc etc etc?
You would of course be in the right place for drivel. Every shallow two-bit tabloid in the country (and I have to read the feckin' things for work) has had the "iPods sell out" story, illustrated by a "life-sized iPod" pic, over the last three weeks, reprinting Apple puff. Now it looks like everyone can have one (despite it appearing the Evening Lies), all those stories will be rehashed at short notice. Apple, we salute you. It won't get Jobs any closer to colonising the desktop, though..
I loved "You have attempted to set the levels to cooperative when they have already been set to exclusive" which Windows 95 offered us one time we tried to do something really sensible. The OK button was greyed out, and only cancel remained..

Nader's simply promoting what he believes in, in this area as in others: surely no-one thinks he's in this for the name-recognition?
