Think of the art that would be produced by attaching the electrodes to a cat and then chasing it with the neighbors dog. Amazing visual with heavy meaning!

The patent system will be effected. They are attacking the companies that took advantage of the weak system. By doing so they are forcing the patents to only be of value if the are actually for innovation. I applaud what they are doing and hope they keep it up.

Leto II from Dune is not the Leto II that becomes God Emporer of Dune. Chani and Paul's next son, part of the twin set, is the Leto II that we all know from following novels. My wife had to remind me of this, I totally forgot the early child that was killed. Had to look it up to see if she was really correct.

My only complaint, the horrible back ground and green-screen effects.

I would love to vote for a Libertarian candidate, but in our two party system the third part gets screwed and the voters throw away their vote. I am not currently registered because I feel that my only true choice would be the lesser of the two evils OR to throw away my vote on a third party. Please tell me how I am wrong and show me the way to a better future.

I really take exception to your comment. My company has an online authoring/publishing product and this article makes a strong point.
How was I supposed to know someone was patenting a product similar to mine. This article points out the need for a public patent info site, or a watchdog site or some such.
This is obviously a dumb patent, but now lets discuss how to prevent this sort of patent from making it through the review process.

I don't have the money to go battle this patent, now what do I do?

Don't we have the technology to go with a true democracy? Why not let everyone vote on all legislation and have your rep/sen vote the way of his constituent majority. Or just do away with Congress all together.
