Maybe I missed something. If Google has spiders that crawl websites collecting data according to their robots.txt files then could Mr. Warden's app be changed to just get its needed data out of Google Cache? Or would that violate Google's EULA?:-)
An automatic system makes a voice call to your phone after you have texted "send 14.99 to 2125551212" to 729725 ((PAYPAL)) and you touch-tone back a PIN which you set up when you activated the PayPal Mobile service. So the phone thief would need your PIN, not just your phone.
GIF is a lossless file format; it is not lossy due to compression.
Since GIF only supports a 256-color palette, if you have to lose your color depth to convert your image to GIF you experience a "loss" which has nothing to do with the file format itself.
When I was a college freshman the CS department was trying to get rid of their punchcarding Harris H800A mainframe; it was using about 65% of the capacity of the hallway of the geosciences building and the talk was, anyone who could haul off the beast could have it.
I checked the Dell Terms and Conditions and couldn't find where it said the offer was limited to "personal" computers; maybe I missed it.
Just to clarify for the benefit of all concerned, that TurboPower was a component of the American company Casino Data Systems, which was acquired/merged by Aristocrat over the last year or two....and although I work on the American side of Aristocrat, I've not had to deal with the TurboPower team, either. Send me an email, fellow cow-orker!

I have the answer! Let's get Google to cache all the torrent files!

Um. cite?
IIRC, the IRS started collecting income tax in 1918, and the depression is considered to have begun in 1929.
