Sorry, looks like a sleek package and has all the right buzzwords but without full PDA functionality, it seems like it misses the mark -- at least at $599.
People already pay to watch feature length movies without real actors --- Anime, ToyStory, etc. And these are literally cartoonish. The market will grow as the realism increases.
At some point I can imagine there being a small niche market for film "snobs" that insist that real actors make better films. Everyone else will watch computer generated flicks without a second thought.

It sucks, but if confidentiality is breached the sucker that got taken by the virus is liable in the USA if they were negligent. For example, if it was reasonable for the employee to follow company policy and not open attachments and ignored that policy... they are burned.

That is just a request. It is not the law and is not enforceable through the courts. Be careful what you fax and where you fax it. Same with email, virus facilitated or not.
There is a reason employers, real estate agents, car salesmen, etc, ask you to sign, sign, initial and sign again. If it was as simple as writing a blurb, then all anyone would have to do is "show you" the contract.

The lawyers out there will know the Latin word (and there is one) but there has to be something received by both parties entering into a contract for that contract to be enforceable in the USA.

One neat application would be to dub foreign language films in the target language using the voice of the original actor even though they do not know the target language. They could start doing that today.
They could start by fixing all those old Chinese and Japanese action/monster flicks dubbed by the same guy talking in false baritone and falsetto.

If we agree to open all borders and let jobs be filled by the best person for the job (best cost/performance ratio) regardless of country then so be it.
My only point is that there really is no programmer shortage. There is only a cheap programmer shortage.
Allowing jobs to be filled from a global pool does lower the "price" of a programmer because many of these people will work for less just to come to the USA.
With H1B we have essentially opened the border for people filling technical jobs. How would our economy fair if we opened it for all jobs?

Recently I was replaced by a cheaper contractor imported from India.

This is real life. Let's stop towing the "company" line that there is a programmer shortage. There never has been. There has only been a shortage of cheap programmers.

The biological experiment was not bad, it is just that there were not enough different tests performed. It is interesting to see that nutrients were converted to gas prior to heating and then the conversion stopped after heating.
Of course, there are non-life based ways to create gas through reaction: spill some water onto common Arm&Hammer baking soda and you get CO2 gas.
The result of the nutrient -> gas test just begs for more testing. It does not rule life in or out.

According to the settlement with SUN a little while back, M$ is not allowed to update any of their existing Java JVM technology, only to use what they wrote a few years ago.
