  1. yeah, but... on Practical Jokes on Co-Workers? · · Score: 1

    J. went on vacation, we filled his cabinet with biodegradable "plastic peanuts" (dissolve one in a coke, nasty). We expected him to open it on Monday, but he returned on Saturday after a maddening personal experience. Yes, he opened it and yes, they all spilled onto his desk. Monday he was in the blackest mood we'd ever seen.
Some practical jokes just ain't worth it.
    He laughed later. Much later.

Do you think a HOWTO would be a better idea than a distro-swapping tool? I've done the same myself, out of frustration at the death of a fairly decent distro and an inability to update correctly. Might even be an easy task if you've got separate filesystems in use, except for distros which don't like /boot... Dang them!

We use two thermal carafes (sp?)
with one LARGE capacity drip machine
    (to fit the carafes)
(and prevents the pot from burning coffee to a nasty crust, no burners on the drip machine)
    and
a grinder into which the drip basket is inserted.

This is sufficient for our 250 person building, and is refilled often each day.

We hire a service to supply all these machines and the coffee

    expensive, but very nice!

Recently my two kids and I went for a baseline MRI to detect cysts for Neurofibromatosis, head scans only. I had to be present in the room to control my kids(not mind control) and so was there for 3x the normal scan time (11 total scans). Most definitely, I was adversely affected by the experience (magnetically, not just the part insurance didn't cover). For two or three days after I was moody and felt depressed, mild but chronic headache. MRI counts as Periodic Exposure, and at that frequency it was terrific! Do get it measured!
