wah. Themes.Org and the wide world of windowmanagers are clearly two things that OctoberX knows well. Would you rather he branch out and post items about which he knows little, or is interested in less?
Give the "open source" crap a rest. "Open", fine... but books don't have "source". They have "text"... you could call it an "open text" project. But "open source books" makes no sense, and makes you look like you're just hopping on the bandwagon without really having a clue.
Which is not necessarily true. The people behind this project obviously have some good ideas. But pick a name that makes sense.
So I found out about all this crap when I pulled freshmeat a little while ago and got scoop's rant.
I hope he'll put the site back up, and I hope he'll use the new interface. After all, if he spent such time on it, I can't imagine it being anything other than leaps and bounds beyond the previous interface (which didn't exactly suck, either). Besides, I haven't even seen the new one.
That said, insert same content as Rob's rant here.

geez..get a grip.
Not in E, they're not.
Remember what happened to the founders of Cisco, Rob? I don't think you necessarily want these people investing in your site.

Antecedents are your friends.
