>This could be potentially very bad for DC - >putting them out of business. That's not very

Why is this not funny? A clueless company with no vable business model that threatens to sue anybody if you do not use our product as intended going out of business, why is this not funny?
I use to work for a university department that bought Gateway Computers and everyone of the computers were shipped by UPS and none of them ever showed up damaged. Now concerning leaving packages on doorsteps, all carriers do that. I always have items shipped to my wife's place of work.
>RMS is twice the man you will ever be punk. I >mean, what the hell have you ever done that's
>even a shadow RMS's work?
Of course where would RMS be without Linus and his Linux kernel? Still bogged down in HURD development and without a free OS his work would be meaningless without an OS to use the tools he ported/developed.
>(Note that this does not exculpate MS for making >crappy stuff like OE - this is merely my

There is nothing wrong with Corvair provided the rear tires are properly inflated, so says a Federal Government study in 1972. Ralph Nader was WRONG. Just like he was about Y2K issues...
I know we should celebrate occasions like this one, when the Linux movement makes strides, but what really bothers me is the inevitable "Take THAT Microsoft!" kind of attitude that's
displayed. Are we out to build a better world, or just to tear down Gates?

Who cares what RMS likes or dislikes?

This has already been put into practice in Cambodia. I do not think anyone will try that again.

Either works for me...
