What a great movie...one of the very first I purchases when I got my DVD! A bit longish but absolutely hilarious in a truly absurd way--lots of fun.

  2. Underappreciated Movies on What's Your Favorite Underappreciated Movie? · · Score: 1

I greatly enjoyed Big Trouble in Little China....a great flick. It had everything--Kung Fu warriors, cowboys, magic, Gods, monsters, love interests--what a film! And it was funny to boot! That's one very underappreciated movie.

...is pure gold. He's primarily a fantasty writer but he's done some science fiction as well. Check out his excellent page at The Misenchanted Page.

Garnets and gold, that is. Gorgeous rings; lovely wyfe designed them herself.

  5. Re:Noise on Consumer Hydrogen Fuel Cells · · Score: 1

I've been researching these for use at our eventual home up in the mountains. A lot of models are going to use the "waste" heat to run a hot water heater....a decent sized fuel cell will generate up to 200 degree F.

I can see using a fan for portable applications like this; bigger house ones will probably strongly encourage people to buy the water heater model so they can up the overall efficiency numbers even more.

Actually.... Here in Colorado we've got guns up to our armpits. No living hell, no shootouts in the alleyways--people can't wait to move here, in fact. Guns don't make people bad, people either are or aren't bad. As to the freedom of speech issue, the point is well taken--Australians don't *have* freedom of speech the way we Americans do, as it's merely law and not in their Constitution. And since they've disarmed all the citizens, there's really not much they can do about it any more, is there? Ferretman
