I currently attend UoP Online, and think it's great. There's alot of work required, but I did experience one teacher who didn't seem like he cared all that much about the students. Overall it's an excellent program in my opinion.

does anyone have any confirmation on this??? Being in Boston, I've been listening to the radio all day (in case of any terrorist junk that we're supposed to be looking out for), and I haven't heard anything on Mr. King passing away. If this is true, that's truly sad...
Has anyone ever thought of cloning dinosaurs??? They could eat and digest victims, taking away the need for burial. There will sure as hell be little or no caualties, as dinosaurs would probably "kill" rather than "hurt". Whatever country grows the biggest and baddest dinosaurs wins!!! Plus you could make that a nice TV show... place Survivor contestents on the same island that you keep the dinosaurs on.
I too, as a web app developer, used to have "fun" at work. I was not part of any Internet startup or VC funded venture. I was a web guy at a Rhode Island based travel company. I left the company in August to start up my own consulting company. Although my company still is not formed, and I'm stuck working in Barnes and Nobles, I'm glad I left because the travel industry is in shambles. We used to have a pool table, Nerf Guns, refridgerator, flexible working hours, and a Dreamcast hooked up to our 25" monitor. When I left in August, we lost the pool table and our workspace to make way for more salespeople. Now I just learned that the company let go 50 people yesterday, including alot of the IT staff. Say goodbye to "fun" at work...
