TW2002 is child's play! You got it easy
with ANSI support and..."scripts." My Empire
game server is running the Empire game
that was originally developed on an
HP2000C in 1973. No scripts, only the
program. No Java! Type you fingers raw!
Telnet or NS/VT protocol only, with
a real session log on. Instructions

See what the good ol'd days were REALLY
like.
I wonder if "Starfleet Orion" on the
old Commodore PET was the ancient
progenitor of this?

I sometimes snicker at the odious convolutions
Unix administrators have to go through to
keep their systems up and running. I'm in
an HPe3000 shop and its automatically
self-journaling file system has never caused
boot-up problems on me in 17 years.
Maybe that's why the U.S. Department of
Defense just went to StarOffice instead
of using Microsoft Office products?

Yes me too. The article looked serious, until
you note the date at the top.

According to the article, I find it odd
that Los Angeles convicts should
be required to pay a fine in British
Sterling.

After watching this on other lists for
a few days. I've come to the conclusion
it was a clever hoax.
