a set of $200 rebates finally convinced me to try an IPaq 3835. I thought it would end up in "the investment closet" with most other gadgets but I actually use it all the time.
I'm big into lists so it's perfect for that as well as managaging all my random ideas, code problems/solutions, contacts, etc...
They (the wanna-be big-spenders) are trying this type of crap in North Carolina too - althought probably not with maglev.
I'm so tired of everyone jumping up ready to spend tax dollars on unnecessary crap. Don't we waste too much already anyway? I know I'm sick of it and want either 1) my money back, or 2) some f*cking accountability at the fed and state levels.
I have been using SyncIt for years now and love it... great for keeping all my favorites sync'd at home/work/travel/etc. Also nice for finding what other developers bookmark - nice search too...
good thread - hope there's some good responses (and not about Bush or global warming you crybaby liberal wanks!) frixion
I used to like moore until he became a self-serving messiah of the wackos....

I have a comparison of the IPaq with my old paper planner at http://www.antiauthority.com/ipaq/
IMO palm (and linux for that matter) are for people with too much time on their hands.

Seriously - haven't these people heard of Amtrak.
I'm suprised they haven't tried to pass it as the "Floridian Travelers Bill of Rights" because after all, who would not support a bill of rights?
Florida... c'mon
