but the EVA was officially timed at 8-hours and 56-minutes. Not exactly 9 hours, and for the last two they were in the airlock, where they could plug into shuttle systems.
I believe that they do have a urine elimination system in the suit. But that says nothing for takeing a crap...

Ahh, but do you remember what Transmeta did with thier curusoe chip? You could easyly put a shell arround the mulitple core CPU to make it appear (to the OS and any software) as 1 very fast chip... Just a thought...

Right on. There is a program currently out there called GOTCHA for your webcam. It uses an algorithm to determine if there is motion in the frame. Put this on a fisheye lense, with the CMOS sensor, it would work like a champ. Just have them all report to a PC in the back, it can store everything and run the algorithm. Then you can run compression on the recorded frames when there is motion, then you have a wonderfull, and still quite inexpensive, security camera system, with the ability to ad cameras painlessly...
Ahh but this could also usher in the FMD disk, a really cool technology about to be released. It has the ability to hold 4GB! on a 3cm disk! That could hold the files produced by this new interface. Find out more at C3D.com...
BOTH, Nerd is a very loosely used term, relateing to anyone who is excesivly skilled or obsessed in a particular area (Especialy those areas that the general public know little to nothing about.)
