Namely im speaking about The DeCSS case(led primarly by the entertainment industry, Time warner, ect) and Sony charging after Napster. The point i was trying to make is that my hope for cases is roughly 2/1 against. The DeCSS case and the Napster case are both in the losing stage currently, however microsoft (who is long over due for a decent ass wupping) is losing.

Whats wrong with this picture. When a trial goes against Microsoft (arguably the corporation with the deepest pockets in America) they lose left and right, and as we all know having a huge bank account = having a Johny Cockrahn clone on your legal staff. But when a trial goes against 2600 or napstar who can barely afford a attourny (spelling nazis bite me) they cant seem to win an inch, and i believe 2600 was using a lawyer that was handed to them from a nonprofit charity organization? Thank god 2600 and Napstar were not using microsoft lawyers, they might have been publicly executed. It just does not make any sense, im all for Microsoft getting kicked around alot but when does the Sony/Time Warner monoply-megaplex get its day in the ass end of the legal system?

Cease and decist?(spelling nazis can piss off), I wonder how long it will take major corporations to figure out that once a program is out on the internet it is too late, you cant stop it, hell you can barely slow it down. This of course covers any program made by individual users provided free to the general public.

Aside from wanting to be the first person on my block to have a cyberjack i would probably want to be the first person i know to have a "caffine implant" Coffee takes a good half hour to an hour to kick in fully. Now if i could have a caffine implant in my brain to release directly into my nervous system... "honey your going to be late for work again" *rubs temple*"YEEEEEAAAERRGHHYeaa!!!!" (shot of large man running out the door with car keys in hand)
Instant caffine implant? hell sign me up.

Ive been using emulators for around 8 years now, ever since i found some of the cool old coin op games in eu format. Ive played on UO emulated servers and they wernt half bad, much better than paying Origin for their crap service and just about as fast. A emulated Everquest might give me reason enough to dust off my old EQ cd, that and it would be nice to know im helping to do my part to piss off Sony megacorp, those bastards need all the kickin they can get.
Sony is poking the great dragon that is the global internet users with a sharp stick, i hope they dont stop, because its not funny until the dragon is wide awake and angry.
