    I use "krc" for my main login, then I have a term where I su to "kellyadmin", which has a blue prompt that ends in #. That account has sudo rights, krc does not.

    Maybe I'll have to find this paper and read it, but I am not convinced yet. So far I have see a couple of guys argue against that interpretation, and a boatload argue for it (although popular does not always equal right either). And the explanation that guy gives sounds reasonable, but plenty of socioeconomic theories sound reasonable on the surface, while actually being complete nonsense.

    Dunno about tc, but shorewall makes iptables nicer (but still not as good as pf, IMO)

    The are a great number of definitions of species, that is one of them. And eventually, yes, you could get a new species (by whatever definition), but it would take a lot more than "several" generations.

    The WebM container is a strict subset of Matroska. Most FOSS container handling software had explicit support for it like a week after it was announced (and could probably have handled it anyway, as MKV).

    Weak is not the word I would use to describe the MPEG-LA.

    1135 patents from 26 companies in 44 countries does not sound very weak either.

    So it does. Did I forget that or did they change it at some point? Still not sure about iOS browser.
