  1. Why am I Not Suprised on OSX/Win2K Deathmatch · · Score: 1

I am only surprised that no one has seen through what Microsoft had Cnet do. This is pre review to put their own product down. Cnet has the full blessing of Microsoft to do this. You know why because Microsft can say in a couple of Months that we have fixed all the flaws of Windows 2K in the form of Windows XP.

I can almost Guarantee that Cnet's next review will say that Windows XP is better than OS X.

This is what Microsoft wants us to see.
OSX > Win2K but WinXP >>>>>>>(Way Better) OSX.

And where the fuck does this say that slaying innocent people will lead to paradise. If you werent so busy trolling and do some reading of the whole Koran instead of just the stuff posted on anti muslim web sites you would know that killing innocents/civilians is not only forbidden the punishment is death. Reading one passage of the Koran or taking verses out of context is a very popular tool used by trolls not unlike yourself to defame over a billion peace loving muslims. If Islam was a religion of violence there would not have been a single "Infidel" left in this world. Islam had control of Europe, Asia, Middle East for 700 years, Enough years to have wiped out every "non believer" but Islam teaches tolerence and love, That is why a worm like you is even born. Go read world history.

  3. Do you know what a shoe really costs? on Nike: Just Don't Do It · · Score: 1

"and helps keep Nike running shoes affordable for all of us"

Do you know what the real cost of making that shoe is, The most expensive shoes from Nike and Reebock cost $10 landed(with Freight) in the US. It retails for at least a $100 more than its cost. The base model cross trainer that retails for $75 costs less than $5 landed.

Nike should do one of two things, take some of that profit and make better working conditions for their workers, or they can reduce their prices at least by half.

They choose not to do either and eat up their enormous profit margins.

The rapid growth of the Telephone device from government use to the public has created new communication mediums for criminals. Previously their communications were limited to the more trackable device such as Postal mail or the Telegraph but the preferred devices of todays Crime boss is the Telephone.

John T Good the Chief Intelligence agent for the US Marshalls said today that telephone gives criminals instant access to the nefarious plans of their bosses.

Jim B Well president of the EUTD(Ethical Use of the Telephone Device) said that the control of the Telelphone Network and all other controls should rest with the government so we can only issue Telephones to God fearing people of America.

  5. whats wrong with that on H1B Tech Visa Workers Being Deported From U.S. · · Score: 1

I think giving green cards to h1 people is wrong, what happens when the economy goes down, all these indians that are coming in are gonna be fighting us for the jobs.

If we don't give em green cards then we can kick them out when we don't need them or when their term / contract expires

I think congress should make that the law, no processing of green cards for H1 visas. This will reduce the burden on INS also.

  6. How the H1B should be structured on Questioning The IT Labor Shortage · · Score: 2

I have worked with a lot of H1 workers. Here is what I have gathered so far.

I have noticed that in general they are not hackers, in fact, 99.4 percent of them are basic non imaginative coders.

They do not always have a degree in Computer Science or IT or any computer related fields. The H1B requirement I am told is a bachelor degree plus 3 years experience or a Masters Degree. It doesn't matter if they have degree in nutritional science or botony, as long as the experience is in IT.

Their three year experience in 70 percent of the cases is fake. The INS doesn't verify that what they list on their resumes is correct. They believe what the candidate or the company submits to them.

Have you ever thought that if the united states doesn't produce more than 30,000 IT people a year, how does india produce 200,000? Yeah they have a billion people but over 70 percent of them are illiterate, That leaves 300 million educated, with not enough universities to go around for everyone. No how many genuine IT workers they produce per year? 15,000. So have you ever thought how many fake application are submitted by Indians every year to get H1 visas?

The INS and the US embassies abroad need to establish a test for IT workers, not unlike the test for P.E. in the US. Only those workers that pass the test should be allowed. Background checks are a must. A certified degree in IT field should be required, not just any bachelors or masters degree, because we can get US works with the same qualifications too.

What happens when the economy starts lagging and these H1 holders have now become green carders? They fight US citizens for the jobs that are not there any more. So lets not make them citizens or green carders, lets make them go back after their visa expires.

So yeah lets increase the quotas but lets watch who comes in and who goes out.
