Last time I tried using a tuner card with my digital cable I was only able to get upto channel 100 or so. Nothing above that came in. Is this still an issue? If so, how do you work around it?
ALthough not a blog reader myself, other I know do read them daily. There have been reports in the last few years as well about companies going after employee blogers. Now these types of issue start popping up.
Blogs the true free press?
We shall see.

I went with the first wave in '03 as well. Most of the books I brought as well as all my dvds were ruined. If I could have copied all those DVDs and brought the copies that would have been great.
kermit was replaced by xmodem. Then along came zmodem with it's "resume" thingy. Jeezz who needs resume?
My first big download was with kermit. It was a 55k text file. It took an hour or so as I recall.
Well, cheers to everyone else who remembers typing fast then your connection speed could handle.
I'd just like to say that those people working on the EuroLinux team are doing a great job. I've meet a few of them, and they're fighting hard and coding even harder.
The USWEST/QWEST DSL service is called MegaBit, and it's also what I use. I live in Arizona and also do some teching for MegaBit suport in my area. It is reliable to an exstent, but for the most part some users will have problems. I can't say I've had a good exspince with it though.
