Diabetes isn't even an excuse. Most of the type 2 diabetics become diabetic because of poor diet choices. Type 1 diabetics need to make even better choices.
I really wish that scientists and doctors would quit trying to hand out excuses. Too many people today blame anyone or anything but themselves for the dilemnas they find themselves in.
People who truly believe their religion wish only to *share* their religion. Take it or leave it. The act of *sharing* your beliefs if done by a zealot drives people away. The act of *sharing* your beliefs done by a true believer can be a moving event in a non believers life.

You described yourself by modifying my comment, and making it your own..
Good job.
Either way, I believe you shot yourself, and thank goodness.... I REALLY wouldn't want you ruining the gene pool.... No, I'm not talking the blue-jeans, I'm speaking of DNA transfer - aka SEX, of which It's obvious you've never had, nor ever will.

It's not tough to do when they only expected to sell 1 phone.
Let's face it. Apple believes that if they stick "Apple" on it somewhere, it will sell.
I have yet to see a product made by apple that isn't tied down by some form of restrictive bull-shit.
iPod - restricted to their iTunes system infesting software. Macintosh computers - formerly restricted to PowerPC platform, currently restricted by proprietary, crappy firmware on what could otherwise be open systems. ie - they are still too scared to allow their OS to run on commodity hardware. iPhone - restricted to the worst possible cell carrier in the US.
Being anti-apple isn't being a troll. I consider it to be a sign of intelligence. Posting anti-apple isn't flamebaiting. It's warning others of the problems of all things apple. Modding an anti-apple statement down is being a troll. More than likely, it's an Apple employee doing it.
If we could see the asshats who are modding, and respond to them, we'd know who the apple employees were.
It's the package..
Strike 1) Apple makes it
Strike 2) Price
Strike 3) Cingular/ATT only
Strike 4) Soldered in battery
Strike 5) Security issues
All in all, it really never had a chance to live...
How is any of this even loosely analogous to a gift cert?
Because that's all it is.
I give you a BestBuy giftcard, you go to BestBuy, and pick something out.
Microsoft gives you a SuSE Linux Distribution voucher, you go to SuSE, and pick out your Linux distribution.
Exactly the same thing.
We may not wish it to be, however, let's face it, on the surface, this is what it is.
MS isn't distributing code.
What they are distributing is a piece of paper, authorizing a user to receive code from Novell.
If I go out and buy a gift certificate, give that to you, and you buy a RedHat or SuSE license with it, am I bound by the GPLv3? I don't think so.
I believe this is where MS is going with their line of thinking...
Now, if these certificates come bundled with media, containing GPLv3 code, then that's an entirely different story, unless the bundle was put together by a supplier, like Dell.
Only to the bit-bucket...
Too many processor bugs that can't be fixed via bios/firmware.
Not saying that AMD doesn't have there's as well, but rushing hardware out only costs more than it makes in the long run if bugs like those creep into the product line.
Considering the piss-poor physical construction of everything i-Pod, I'd say it's based in the realm of truth. I've known too many people who've gone through 5 iPods in 3 months just from sitting on their desks.
I can't imagine that they've actually improved quality on the iPhone.
It's not flame-bait when it's fact.

Must have been a fan boy, or one of Tivo's employees, or possibly one of their lawyers...
Either way..
I stand by my comment.
The Tivo is almost as good as the 622, which is over a year old.
The 622 with 3 tuners, 2 dish, 1 off air, able to record from all 3 tuners, while playing 2 recordings to 2 different outputs simultaneously..
Like I said, almost as good as last years dish model.

Did you notice that your comments were modded to zero?
This which doesn't subtract from your karma, as it's zero, it just doesn't add either.
Did you notice mine stayed at 1? This adds 1 to my karma.
So please, continue...

No, I'm not talking the blue-jeans, I'm speaking of DNA transfer - aka SEX, of which It's obvious you've never had, nor ever will.
Of course you can retard, you're doing it anonymously....
See - there's a difference. I don't mind sharing my opinion, but I let people know who I am.
You on the otherhand, continue to hide behind your momma's skirts (or maybe you're just wearing them)....
As I said, this is fun...
Is that all you've got?
Come on - actually respond, don't just hide behind the mod button...
Come out of hiding, and let the world see who you are...
Is that you SJ?
Awww - I can do this all year?
How about you?
Keep going Mr. Apple Employee....
There are few things that are as much fun as baiting Apple fan-asses.
Mock Apple, it's products and they crawl out of the cess-pools to mod you troll, flame-bait, whatever.
Whatever, I really don't care. It's fun, and I'll continue to do it.
Karma to nuke.....
Give it another week or two for the units to start failing, being taken over, hacked, or the screens to be scarred.
Then we'll see.
Right now it's Apple fan-ass'ism that's driving it.
Awwww what's the matter?
Am I picking on poor wittle Apple too much?
Shut the fuck up, crawl back under the rock, and wait 3 million years in the hope that your descendants will climb the evolutionary ladder before they crawl back out....
uh oh - apple employees at it again...
I need to start going over the the apple forums and start modding all the pro apple stuff troll....

Until slashdot decided to strip out all of my formatting, it looked quite nice.
I'd assumed that since it looked fine under preview that it'd go through the way I'd formatted it....
Gotta love the "html formatted" default... now where's my hammer.
