I picked up the Swiss Army laptop bag a while back. I bought it in a rush at the local Office Depot, and am much chagrined at how heavy it is. The thing is so heavy (empty) that with the addition of my HP laptop it causes noticable strain on my back.
Word to the wise: if you're buying in a brick-and-morter store, bring your laptop along to test out the weight.
10 MB, 100 MB, 1GB, 3GB -- I really could care less about the storage space. What I want is reliable webmail.
Yahoo Mail has been out since this morning -- by my account it's been down for at least 8 hours now. This is not the only outage in the past few weeks either.
Maybe I should head over to ebay and bid on a gmail invitation.
I have often asked this same question: basically what I want is an All Music Guide for books.
The site would allow you to look up an author see his or her released books in chronological order by year published. You can't get that from Amazon because it's too clogged with marketing crap and duplicate listings of the same books.
Google and other tools are useful if you know what you are looking for, but for browsing a list of an author's collection there is no reliable source.
Hmmm, if this was 1995 I would smell a business plan brewing...
Actually, to those who haven't read the books the ending is a bit jarring. I went to see the movie this weekend with my wife; I've read the book, she hasn't. We both loved the movie, and my wife knew this was the first of a triology, but when the credits rolled, she looked at me and said "That's it? They didn't throw the ring into the mountain!?!".
She was expecting FOTR would come to an end, and that the second and third movies would have other plots. Can't fault her for this expectation...

...the rest of Chewie's family? Here's hoping Maula, Itchy, and Lumpy will also be making return appearances.
