??? Logic error: No one can buy the second generation if there won't be a second generation.
That's like saying you are buying a new car to support the Used Car market when you trade in two years to buy another new car. It doesn't change the fact that by being a new car buyer you are getting killed by depreciation. In the case of being an early adopter you are getting an inferrior product.
Maybe if people stopped bending over and taking it as often as we do things might just improve. Apple had to have done real world tests on these things. IE: Carrying them in their pockets with keys, dropping them, and putting them through other things that are considered normal use. They had to know about this and they still decided to put it on the market with plastic that was too soft.
But you do realize that when you go to larger diameter rims, you go to lower profile tires, and the diameter of the overall wheel is unchanged, right?
Not if you live in Nashville, TN the rage here is to get a crap ride, throw on some 24 inch rims and tires that actually raise the car. I saw this one guy had more ground clearance in his buick then I had in my Explorer.
There are multiple websites that already post personal information such as addresses and phone numbers though. Granted they only use public information and you have to search for people by name but my point is should BLOGS be forced to never include addresses or should they be required to make sure that the information they are publishing is public record and isn't listed with the phone company under a private listing
I guess I should consider myself happy for living in a civilized country where this kind of thing doesn't happen then.
In my defense, my area of town isn't a bad area but it only takes one wack job to end the happy days. Even in the countries where it's not common place it does happen, my neighborhood had not had anything happen like that before.
The very concept is completely ludicrous. I pay taxes so that other people take care of this, which they do (the buglars were caught eventually).
My problem with relying on the police to protect me in the event of home invasion is the fact that they can't get there in the time it would take to keep the invader from causing me harm.
There was a rash of night time burgleries in my neighborhood recently and people were beaten up and raped. I refuse to rely on the police for the type of protection simply because of the response time for them to arrive at my house. Now I'm not going to fire blindly but I will drop someone that breaks into my house if they refuse to obey my commands when they see that I am holding a gun.
Anyway, to answer your question I think that once I learn the difference between a pickle and a marinated cucumber I'll be quite happy.
Pickling is a longer process then marinating. Which stops the degradation process. Usually a pickle is soaked in vinegar where as a marinated cucumber isn't.
I'm glad you mentioned that. Cuase if you stole my custom made house - I would be very violated, but if you stole a copy, then hell have two, im flatterted...
There is a difference because you weren't selling those custom made house plans to earn a living. You were the recipient of someone elses work involved in completing those plans. Do you honestly expect software companies to spend the man hours and money to create a SINGLE item they can sell to one person then have to move on to a new product? I sure don't.
Personally I view this as theft plain and simple, if you are using a product they created and expect compensation for, without paying for it then you are a thief. If you would have never bought the product in the first place then why are you using it at all?
Technically, he's just reinjecting his capital into the economy. Fiscally speaking, this is more responsible than tucking the cash away under your pillow.
That's just an excuse that people use to justify them not saving money. When you put money into the bank what do you think they do? Keep it in your account? They make money by reinvesting your money. So technically speaking you are helping both you and the economy.
"- reduce the monitor color temperature setting to no more then 6000"
I just changed the temp on my monitor from 9300k to 6500k and I must say that just made a WORLD of difference. Almost instantly I could feel my eye strain go away. I can't set it lower or the screen looks too yellow for me.
Thanks for the tip
I have been using a mouse made by Micro Innovations for alomst a year now. It's cordless and has rechargable batteries. All you do is plug a cord into the side of the mouse to recharge it.
When the batteries get low the scroll wheel lights up.
I would have to agree with you 100%. I like my software free like almost everyone else on/. but these companies that product the software we use IE: Red Hat Mandrake ect.. they have developers that have families to feed.
