TS: Something that many people mention to me is that there aren't very many mice designed for people that are left-handed. What does Logitech plan to do about that? As a left-handed gamer, I understand the issue. There is definitely an opportunity for a left-handed gaming mouse, and we will continue to explore that. That being said, we have nothing to announce at this time.
I've seen them in Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Ottawa and Montreal.
They got their floor demos about three weeks ago; there's a MB dealership right across where I work, and I see them regularly.
According to the salesman, this year's allocation for Canada has already been sold out.
Sitting in one, you don't feel the "tinyness" of the thing; Inside, it's about as big as a Toyota Echo (well, except for the back seat); definitely some TARDIS technology at work here.
"On June 16, 2004, there was an internal demonstration at Skype of the alpha version of Skype for MacOS. The alpha version worked well and the development team is working towards a beta launch of Skype for Mac. It will likely take about 2-3 months until release. When Skype for Mac is available, an email will be sent to you through Public Mind to let you know. Thanks for your patience."
In fact, Hydro-Quebec (here in, well, Quebec), was working on exactly the same thing. Saw it in person at the Montreal Car show, installed on a Dodge Intrepid.
Hydro-Quebec then quietly dropped the project, and people called foul on the auto industry (the "the oil industry doesn't want this" conspiracy).
I don't know how it would've have turned out on our potholes fields they call streets, though.
If you want to read more (and you can read french), google for: moteur-roue Couture.
Since most electronic music gear has standardised on the 19" rack, maybe a 1U server would fit the bill (add a good PCI soundcard, a midi interface). You can also get other accessories (LCD, keyboard) made for the 19" standard. And I know that some gear cases have the 19" built-in.
It's not Ford's thumb.
Because of the crappy quality of the trailer, you can hardly see the electronic thumb he's wearing. Looks like a ring with an antenna.
To see it clearly, look here: http://www.h2g2movie.com/pages/february04.html and scroll down to the picture of the survival kit (with Towel, Babel Fish and Thumb).
GM shares went up when it revealed its plan to rename the Hummer SUV as the Hummer TFV, or TerraForming Vehicle.
"We've been warming up the Earth with this thing since it came out. We're sure it's up to the task of warming up Mars.".
The Hummer range is formed of the H1, for gas giants, H2 for M-class planets and H3 for "smaller, neighbourhood-style planets".

I thought it was forged deep within Mt. Doom...

But this can get expensive pretty quick.
