    If you check you will find out that they have had the most overturned cases by NUMBER, not by percentage.

    They handle more cases that any other circuit court in the nation.

    There is no gurantee that Apple Computer will still be in the music business. Remember they have an agreement with Apple Records not to and they are going to court over it.

    Apple could be forced to close itunes if the worst happens.

    Why would I buy from apple if they are spending so much time trying to stop real when that time could be better spent of things that help the people they buy their products?

    IOP the poster said he started this project over 3 years ago and postgresql, to be honest, didn't behave quite the same way back then.

    IOW, it could be a pain to use.

    1) lack of consistent SQL support (getting better)
    RESPONSE: What are you talking about?

    2) lack of atomic commits (still??)
    RESPONSE: They are called transactions and PSQL has had them for much longer than MySQL.

    3) exponential degradation of performance with simultaneous accesses
    RESPONSE: I have never seen this in production, any links to back this up?

    4) multi-threading issues on multi-proc/distributed systems
    RESPONSE: See #3

    5) no graphical interface (necessary to "visualize" the table formats)
    RESPONSE: PGAdmin and other tools support PSQL.

    6) no Dylan/Eiffel/Smalltalk/etc. support
    RESPONSE: Google for them. They exist.

    If you have to recode that many lines to change database engines then it would appear that php is broke, what are you going to replace it with? ;->

    A source for your comment would be nice. And please explain all the female Olympic athletes that have been on National TV this past month, it doesn't look to me that we are trying to hide the # of women in the olympics.
