When this article was first posted 'in the mysterious future' I emailed the onduty editor and pointed out the first link was 404ed.
Nothing was done.
Why again should people pay money to subscribe and do the editors job for them if they will not even check their email to find out what errors we report?
The makers of QT claim that you have to have a 1200 USD/DEV license IF, according to their site, " Use the Qt Commercial License to:
Build commercial software.
Build software that is not sold, but that advances the business goals of a commercial enterprise"
With the makers of the toolkit saying you have to pay if you use software written with the toolkit to 'advance business goals' it brings pause to some.

MA receives 0.95 cents for every dollar it pays into the Federal Highway Fund.
Well, since the GWB administration has grown the size of goverment by about 25% since he was elected I am not sure that one can claim that R's are 'all-goverment-is-bad'
And how much have you done, other than write about it on a weblog, to help those people?
Yet you post this from a device that has dozens of semiconductors made using some of the most toxic manufacturing processes know to man.
Please improve your own life before you preach to others.
The heat death of the universe.
That's Ok.
It appears that I have also been removed from the moderator poll.
Yes.
If they are not working, they they should not post a link at the bottom of the story saying to email in any mistakes.
I think you have to have the NVIDIA drives installed to be able to use this on NVIDIA cards.
I emailed the editors, but they didn't do a damn thing about it.
I didn't pay.
Someone paid for me to have an account. I think it was someones idea of a sick joke.
I WISH you could get it to display. Having direct access to memory on systems like the C64 lead to some neat effects.
The GNOME libs are LGPL.
You do not have to distribue source that links against unmodified LGPL libs.

This is the same GNU project that 'fired' the GNU/Hurd OS lead because the lead wanted a MORE FREE license for the docs than RMS.
They should practice what they preach.
Maybe you don't.
But the people who sign the check, they care.
That may be true.
But who do you think the PHB's will listen too?
And why would you want to trust a company that lies about when you have to buy a license?

One reason may be the 1,200 USD per developer to develope closed source apps for KDE.
Gnome doesn't have such a charge.
Because that isn't enought. Side 1 doesn't want Side 2 to get 'ahead'.
Who side 1 and side 2 are in this discussion is up to you.
Heathen!
You speek ill of the Model M.
You must DIE (Or be forced to watch Spice World 10 times in a row)!!!

TX receives 0.86.
No shit.
But the MAJORITY of the cost of this was carried by taxpayers in the other 49 states.
It was a was of money, not for what was done, but for how it was done.
He KILLED somebody.
Till he is in jail he hasn't sufferend enough.

No. The keep adding & adding to the same limited project so the project grows to a 16 Billion monster is bogus.
Most, if not all, of those projects that you named didn't go over budge by such an obsene amount.
Of course you like it. You didn't have to pay for most of it. The rest of the country did.
