    Yes it can. Why do you think medical drugs to treat 'real' diseases need to be tested against it? Placebo does not equal background noise, it is an effect above the background noise.

    If you're dogfighting fighter jets there's a high probability there's not going to be much besides clouds, drones and jets. Keep track of your own and if you happen to crash into a jet, well, good one. And just work with probabilities, 19/20 you're going to be right... because you programmed it like that!

    Everybody understands truth. We stare at it everyday.

    Because humans are not balanced, their perception of the truth is skewed. Every viewpoint is a different reality. If you can get into his reality or the one directly opposite the truth, then you can find a common language to discuss in and to bring each other closer to center.

    That of course is if you want to get all Ghandi on him.

    The most obvious being grapes and berries. The cold is an indicator of the coming winter and helps the development of sweetness as the fruit prepares itself.

    Try and find a non-bitter orange growing in mexico. Or how about non-acidic cherries in central america?

    Most people really don't care about 'privacy' in public.

    Have you ever watched people in public? Lots of nose picking and self preening as if nobody was around. Most people are too self involved to have it affect their lives. The people 4sd's from the mean, the paranoid and the criminal, don't make up enough of the population to have any effect.

    I find it interesting that everybody mentions holding the phone to the persons face.

    Perhaps everybody fails to understand you can record somebody from 10 feet away or even further. Maybe everybody is fine with being recorded in a crowd and would only be bothered by someone filming them 1 foot away. Or maybe they're just idiots who can't think of anything else.

    Or they're doing exactly what I did with the last two sentences.

    You must live in one of those countries that have no clue what subtlety is. You also seem to have no clue how self-involved people are and how rarely they notice what is going on around them. You might be interested to know there's such things as public transport were people are in close proximity and actually try to ignore each other.

    Try leaving your mom's basement every once in a while, watching people on tv isn't the same as seeing what they do in reality.

    But are you aware that most plants can only take in that extra CO2 at certain times, that they get fatigued by high levels, that some can't grow in elevated levels?
