Always think. This sounds like the industry paid for a study to swab away some of the well earned bad rep of ultra-violent games. So, when's someone tells you it's good for you to be kicking a prostitute in the groin for no reason until she bleeds and dies, I don't know.

Funny, I'm thinking "negative" words such as violated and restricted could just as well have been used by Stallman to describe the complete opposite case where he, for instance, expresses his concerns that permitting combinations of proprietary/free code would "open up a hole big enough to sink a ship".
E.g: "The idl compiler is GPL'd. The code generated by it is 'non-free'"

  8. emf-l mailing list. on Ask Slashdot: Wooden Chasis and EMF · · Score: 1

The emf-l mailing list comprises laymen, experts, and other concerned citizens. The topics are just about everything you could think of in the field (pun) of the ever-increasingly "blue" world that we're all living in. Unfortunately the list moderator and maintainer is (as of today) on a two week vacation which puts the list on hold as well. But, you may still join now (OH, the work load of the /. effect. Poor Roy...). Just send an email with your concerns to rbeavers@llion.org and surely there will be someone who is able to help you.
