You can already get long laptop battery times with a PowerBook. With both batteries in there and the way the computer cycles power, unless I save continuously I can play with photoshop for quite a long while (around 6 or more hours), if it's just text files and few saves you could get ten or more hours. If you have a a large enough amount of RAM you can even run Photoshop in RAM and not even spin up the hard drive at all (until you want to save info to the hard drive before going to sleep).
