    We, South Africans have to put up censored discs from UK. Up yours BBFC. (Pommie censor board).

    That's why we prefer R1 discs if R2 is censored. If R2 is not, then we get R2 because PAL is better than NTSC.

    You tell me, I had to split my 42mb HD into 2 seperate partitions to use all of the space due the DOS' 32 MB limit.

    What's wrong with it? Funny is I am reading the book, The Dispossed, by Ursula K LeGuin. I am sure that /.ers will identify with the ideas in this book!

    Telkom bashing time! :) It was news to me that DSL was illegal in SA? Telkom's Diginet is completley useless. Damn bloody government granting Telkom exculsive monopoly until 2002. SATRA are toothless poodles. They just managed to screw up 3rd cellular licence process...

    Tell that to R2 DVD publishers. They are ripoff. No wonder R1 DVD are cheap. Even you factor in delivery costs!

    I agree that it is not worth extra $300 for extra 5-10 fps. (I can't tell the difference.) But, kudos to nVidia to push the limits higher all time, or we'd be stuck playing mode-x games with VGA cards! I'd get Nv20 or NV25 or whatever since I got GeForce. It was a big jump from Riva128.

    Dunno, but UT looks hell better than Q3A. OpenGL was never meant to be gaming gfx platform from day one. DirectX was.
