You need to seriously reevaluate your thinking about typical users bandwidth availability. Just because you and everybody YOU know has ample bandwidth, does not mean that MOST people have adequate bandwidth to download entire distros in a reasonable amount of time.
Uh.....you've been able to get this technology out of the ads in the back of comic books for over twenty years....you know the sunglasses with the swirly lens in em?
what you do not take into account is that the Crusoe doesn't require any fan for cooling...which is a definite big hitter for power consumption in Intel laptops
ummm.....hehe...I probably got everybody in this thread beat. User Info

I personally find that the SuSE listerver (english edition) more than makes up for dialup support. You can usually get answers to questions in a couple of hours that are more than sufficient to get you past the problem.
I must qualify this post with the disclaimer that I am a happy 6.1 user (albeit modified system).
There are valid uses for having CAPS LOCK set. In engineering drawings (CAD), most agencies require that all lettering etc. be all caps because it is more legible when they put the drawings on microfilm.
This will eventually not be a problem, since more and more agencies require CDs with the digital drawings themselves now.
It >may have once meant Revisable Text Format...but all documentation I've read of late calls it RICH Text Format (meaning that it can have font properties and color).
There hasn't been a binary build of mozilla for linux SPARC on mozilla.org since 0.7 What gives? I CAN'T be the only one using linux on a Sun box.

No.....I think you got moderated down because somebody failed to see (as I do) that BOTH parties were acting childishly (the opinion you voiced).
What are your reasons for thinking BOTH parties were acting childishly?
