You think that maybe the reason it's not listed is because it IS compatible? I'm using one in my laptop. Worked with both the 2.4 and the new 2.6 kernel using the madwifi driver.
Personally.....I've been seeing a whole lotta photos of models in "painted-on" swimsuits lately. I have to say...my favorite answer to "what do you do for a living?" would be "I paint swimsuits onto naked supermodels".
Actually....the kernel that comes with openzaurus enables use of the SD cards for the zaurus. I don't think it supports any DRM, and basically ignores it so that you can use SD cards like a MMC.
BZZZZT. Verbatim manufactures their own media, so its of known good quality. This is the brand the previous poster was referring to being sold at Sams's Club too. Good stuff.
Actually there is an ugly ActiveX hack you can add to any pages using transparent pngs...and they display fine assuming ActiveX is enabled in the end-user browser (not that likely I agree).
ALot of distros backport the patches to the version that shipped with the distro. This usually means there is less likely hood of a change breaking something else on the system. If up2date says there isn't any updates, its >probably ok.
Part of the problem could be that there is alot of javascript code floating around that FORCES a reload if you are running netscape and resize the browser. I've seen this code...and wondered what it was for. Must be a workaround for some 4.x bug.

Bullshit.
My PC at the office has a GF3 in the AGP slot, and a really old PCI TNT2 running my second monitor. This allows me to do graphics on my 21" monitor, and read email and slashdot on the 17". No frickin driver issues whatsoever.
Actually the rumor that I heard most, was that M$ footed the bill for a big chunk of rhe programming of the Windows version, on the condition that ADESK drop support for other platforms. And it sure seems like thats what happened...since when the windows version came out, the others were killed off.
Those prices are probably correct......buuuuut....those are rebuilt/remanufactured drives. You can't compare that with the prices for those drives new.
Don't state opinions as facts unless you have actually checked them. Otherwise you are helping spread FUD.
From the PuTTY FAQ:
A.1.1 Does PuTTY support SSH v2?
Yes. SSH v2 support has been available in PuTTY since version 0.50. However, currently the default SSH protocol is v1; to select SSH v2 if your server supports both, go to the SSH panel and change the Preferred SSH protocol version option.
Public key authentication (both RSA and DSA) in SSH v2 has been added since version 0.51.
I think you are missing one of the reasons they include "everything and the kitchen sink". Starting out as a european distribution, where at the time everybody was on slow dialup, and paid by the minute for connectivity....having all this included made one HELL of alot of sense in my opinion.
uh....there is plenty of notices of eploitable telnetd.....but anybody with half a brain is running OpenSSH anyway. I don't think there is that many exploited boxes.
Of course I could be wrong.
The point of using only standard fonts, is that you are guarranteed that the message >will look the same on the receiving end.

I've seen benchmarks showing that ATI boards fare better in DOOM 3 with a faster CPU....but the NV solutions don't.
Go Figure.

Just thought I'd let you know
There is a model of this that has 3 NICs...just thought you might like to know.

mod this up
Data shows Netscape browser usage down to just 3.4%

Microsoft's rival browser, Internet Explorer, by contrast, has an estimated 96%
of the market, according to Internet research firm WebSideStory.

There are Apache 2.0 rpms in testing right now for download from mandrakeclub.com

The original post is right...he just has the abbreviation wrong. T1 is 1.5Mb, and the proposed connection is 10Mb. Still 7X
I predict the widespread trading of wav files on nntp and p2p.
Nuff Said
Yeah....I had heard that. However, my sparc20 with dual 142 Rosses, and my sparc2 with Weitek powerup, both run flawlessly on SuSE 7.3
The developers have already stated that they will skip the 8.0 release and release the next sparc at 8.1
They also claim that dropping 32-bit sparc support is probable....though I certainly hope not.

There are plenty of 3rd party programs that fix this annoying feature of IE (if the user can't be bothered to install mozilla).
For instance: Panicware's Pop-Up Stopper and Surf Pal products.
They work well.
