    Different thing. I was referring to the fact that there was a big ol' balloon full of explosives. The gas pumped into the hindenburg was intended to make it float. The fuel in a 747 is intended to explode (albiet within the confines of a jet engine)

    It looked to me like they were counting the broken sites on the list of screwed up transactions. Personally, i only count it as fucked if they bill me too much, or too little, or send me the wrong item, or no item at all...that sort of thing.

    Just my take.

    Is it just my imagination, or should this story have been a (Score:5, Interesting)?

    Parents and religion can be the 2 most destructive forces on a child's upbringing. What if your local pack of Southern Day Baptventists (not a real religion) or whatever decide to start monitoring their youth groups to make sure they don't do anything unsavory?

    I can see a lot of good that could come out of these chips, but the possibility of abuse on this one is just too great. I hope I don't see it in my lifetime.

    Wenger uses a cheaper grade of steel, it seems to me. It might not really be cheaper, but i don't like it as much as the stuff victorinox uses.

    So it's really really cool. I'll grant that. However, I saw pics of people using them in wave pools at water parks and stuff....wouldn't it be relatively easy for water to shlop down into the entrance hole and drown someone? what if the damn thing popped? You'd NEVER get out.

    Not to say that the prospect frightens me. I still want one, I'm just pointing out some stuff that occurred to me.

    We've all seen The Matrix, 2001, Terminator, etc, and all have to do with machines becoming sentient and destroying their operators when they threaten to pull the plug. It's a natural aspect built into our personality - logically a machine with a human brain would inherit that characteristic as well.

    ummmm....2001 was about the evolution of man. it just so happened to have HAL in it. HAL's downfall was NOT that he was AI as you would have us believe, but that he was given 2 sets of conflicting orders. Human error. remember the video clip Dave stumbled across while shutting HAL down?

    Actually, antimatter has been made in EXCEEDINGLY small amounts in labs. It's just an atom where the protons have been given a (-) charge and the electrons have been given a (+) charge. Deceptively simple, no?
