Can you just imagine the debate, not only between KDE and GNOME, but as far as editors, and any tools/utils to install. Many times, there are only 15 different programs on the CD to do the same thing. Which will be installed in the "newbie class?" No matter what they pick, someone will hate it. Not to mention that almost all geeks will denounce it as not being a real version of Linux.
It's been a recurring idea on/. for a while, but what true, hardcore Linux geek really wants it to go mainstream?
hmm, i think i do too. its a stretch though, since i havent played since like the 6th grade, but i believe it was 007 676 5963... or did i mix a phone number up in there? =)
ah, the good old days. i think its time for me to take a trip over to the nearest Funcoland and pick up some of the good ol' 8-bit titles!! of course, gotten pull the old NES out of the attic first. doh, too bad most of the NES ROM sites that I've seen suck.

umm, I believe you're thinking about the Netgear Internet Routers (http://www.netgear.com/routers_main.asp).
They are not bad routers. The RT311 is just the router, whereas the RT314 has the built in 10/100 4-port switch.
