I drive a Prius. I live in New Hampshire and have been through one winter with it. It was fine (although the gas mileage is lower in the winter, which is to be expected).
I average around 50 miles to the gallon and fuel up once every two weeks (I drive a lot, however). I get about 500 miles out of each tank of gas.
