Anyone who knows peer-2-peer sharing is aware that IRC is by far the largest network around. Yet, new programs spring up every week for file sharing, and most of them shut down later down the road, yah Napster anyone? IRC has continued to stay online despite the amount of piracy that transpires on the IRC network. Also the amount of 'warez gatherings' that take place on IRC is unprecendented by any other network today. So how can we assume that BitTorrent is a problem?
If someone put the matrix up for grabs, why not grab it. I am surprised that BitTorrent was the only P2P program mentioned by our friends at the BBC. I mean come on, IRC ring a bell?
The whole point in the matrix was to make a point that billions of peopel would see. Just a theory that we are all controlled by some un god like force. I dont really see the need for a second matrix, what the hell would it be about??? The first one really made me think I had to watch it 3 times to get the real meaning of the movie.
First off I dont own windows, and second off i would just pirate rather than paying 100$'s. I mean what is the whole point in buying an os that doesnt even work, and has so many exploits than you can kill it with. www.redhat.com, now that is one hell of an os.
IRC has taught me so much more in one week about a computer, than AOL can teach me in a lifetime. If some one wants to be restricted to there thinking than let them use aol. If you want to deal with real life, then goto www.mirc.com, and go talk to someone and get there real opionon. Not some spiced up news topic.....

I have to take the blue or the red pill i would grab the both and swallow em while giving morpehos the finger, then run away.
