It's the sneetches all over again.

Oh, and we're not in the British market. We're in the US market. In the context of TV shows in the US, a season is a season. A whole season, jackass. Why you are vouching for Apple is beyond me, they pay asshole lawyers for that.

Yeah, okay, that's all good and well...except the part where you're wrong. Apple doesn't give a DAMN about customers. They've gotten too many millions of people to drink their kool-aid. They think their brand is invincible...and to a certain point, it really kind of is. What really blows my mindhole is the part where you mentioned Apple somehow putting pressure on Amazon. Wtf? Seriously? If Amazon even THINKS they've wronged you, they pretty much shell out a BJ on the spot. Figuratively, of course. I've seen people get refunds and replacements for the most ridiculous reasons. Amazon is the most play-nice companies with which I've ever done business. How you can say Apple cares about customers and Amazon doesn't... Mindblowing, sir, absolutely mindblowing.

^This. I was hoping someone would mention this. High-end artists have played with recording/mixing and such on iPads, but if you actually try to use it for recording or mastering something you're taking to the market, you're probably an idiot. Only a true iSheep would choose an iPad over a dedicated desktop/microphone array/dedicated equipment for these purposes. The fact that iPad does that stuff decently is really only so that we non-pro/unsigned/small-time indie artists have another reason to buy a technologically inferior product. (And yes, iOS does some things well, but Android is so much more USABLE for anyone with even a modicum of technical understanding).

It's not that much of a stretch to call XBox a failure - even though it's a success in market share (at least in the US) it hasn't yet paid off in profits.

This isn't true anymore. The fact that the Xbox project is now profitable is old news. Is it hugely profitable? Well, no, but MS operations don't hinge on Xbox sales.

^this. To serve and protect...a people that hate and fear you. I'm not saying I hate all of them, but damn...some officers just have it wrong. Officer, I'm not your enemy--in fact, I'm technically your boss. See, I'm a member of the public, and you're a public defender. I know your job can be dangerous at times, but most of the time you're not really in any danger, so calm down during times of safety and act like a respectable human being.

  7. Re:I'm amazed...at your ignorance on George Zimmerman Acquitted In Death of Trayvon Martin · · Score: 1

How can you conclude that Zimmerman would be in prison if he were black? Has this EXACT same situation with ALL the same particulars except race happened in a parallel universe with which you are familiar? Bottom line, there was NO evidence for a conviction, I don't give a shit what the race is. If he was convicted, odds are, the verdict would be overturned by a higher court because (and read carefully, this is important) THERE WASN'T ANY EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT A CONVICTION. Also, if you are suggesting that we wrongly convict one man just because another man of a different race was wrongly convicted in the past, then fuck you, because that's the most egregious case of two-wrongs-don't-make-a-right I've ever fucking heard.

lol, leeching? How so? Treat it like real estate, people, it's fundamentally no different and you can't tell him what to do with it. If they somehow FORCE him to GIVE it up, that's just wrong.
