Ok, I respect your parents, they had this free will and went to fight the nazis because US gov told them to do that, or because they felt this is the right thing to do. Thank God (and your parents), Nazi Germany lost the war.
But what about those parents who were also told by the gov to go fight in Vietnam ? Were they right ? Many US soldiers who were in Vietnam came to wonder what are they doing there ? Were they serving the country ? Or were they only players in a CIA driven game ? I'm not taking sides here, but here's a perfect example of wrong collective thinking. The war ended partly because the massive protest against that war.
Thank God some folks didn't think like those who started that war...

Have you ever considered that some countries do almost nothing for their citizens, or worse, making their life miserable ?
Have you ever considered that individuals live an individual life, and not the life of a whole country ? If I think my life would be better in another country, I should do something about it, and not sacrifice it for "a greater good", I only have one life !
Individuals think individually, not collectively at a national level, and that's called "free will". Remember ?, "free will" ?

That's true, but the same goes for the native americans: some are real good people, while others are trash. So, your argument is null.
