    I, for one, think the little pop-up balloons on the system tray and start menu have all of the appeal of a celebrity trial.
    Configured a limited account, logged in, and the annoying bubble says "There are unused icons on your desktop, would you like my to clean that up for you?" and I'm thinking, please, anything to shut this OS up, so I play along, and it throws an error about being unable to create a folder somewhere.
    Presumably, this is a vaguely positive thing, inasmuch as the security features may have worked, I think.
    http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/winxphks2/ is really a requirement to make sense of the situation.

    Actually, without cameras and recorders about, the one or two politicians I've encountered off the record turn out to be reasonably intelligent people, who genuninely want to try to do what they perceive to be the Right Thing, for the country, their constituents, and themselves.
    None of them are as miserable and corrupt individually as all of them are together.

    Furthermore, you can stand by for updates of those operating systems to obsolete your existing hardware by fiat.
    It's nice to have the opportunity, if you desire, to maintain a driver and keep the stuff working.

    My curiousity is piqued by the idea of getting a hold on the 13-ish budget bills that Congress staggers towards passing annually, in its palsied fashion.
    Are these documents just scans of hardcopy (what you'd expect) or will some be transferred in some .pdf-ish format?
    It would be a great Summer of Code project to do some indexing and analysis to figure out WTF.
    Government accounting, as Ghandi said of western civilization, would be a great idea.
