How has the internet been around this long, and you still do not know the phrase "I know right"?
I think you just the entire thread.
You not knowing that phrase hit me for maximum damage.
Not knowing IKR has made your body explode into a fine bloody mist because you are only a level 2 druid.
Um... Something about cats.
THE END
+1 agree
I did either this, or staring at the ground while I ran quite often. OR if I was sniping at someone (Original Halo) I would keep them off of my screen for as long as possible before I targeted and fired.
Why use fancy laser cutters and such when the technology and means to mass produce them cheaply already exists?
Because things need to be incredibly precise. I asked the same question initially, but there is no way I could ever cut the pieces out precisely enough to be usable, even with a precision knife (Exacto, etc)
Or if it was in motion, breaking up via centripetal forces would cause it to spread in all directions, but mostly in the direction it was traveling. (Given enough speed)
Go easy on them, they were thinking about fighter jets, not space shuttles. But really, the ejecting cockpit on a space shuttle idea is just the worst.
Indeed, this brings to mind images of 30 year old babies that have no motor skills aside from walking. When I played, I could run into almost any situation and know exactly what strategy to use. These people would end up lumbering around mashing random buttons/skills/spells until they found the first thing that kinda works, and rely solely on that. Then as soon as the situation changes, they are useless again.
Surely this is pushing up the lower bounds of some variables?
Doubtful. This is just making it faster to confirm exoplanets, it is not changing what types of exoplanets we can detect.
As AC said above:
The way we search for planets, we only discover planets of certain mass (the larger, the easier), AND/OR at certain location from the star (the closer, the easier), AND/OR at particular ecliptic's angle compared to ours...
I agree with everything you have to say about this.
The only reason I started playing other games is because one of my good friends became interested in Warframe, so I play that with him from time to time. But DOTA 2 is definitely my favorite, especially with the new Ability Draft mode, it really keeps things fresh.
FYI, they did a really good job with DOTA 2. Much better graphics, fine tuned gameplay, new heroes, special events, and free. I play often with friends, I was able to pick it up very quickly my first time because I had so much WCIII DOTA under my belt, so other than learning the new heroes/items, you should not have any issues.
"Explosion Free Pizza" was how I read it too, but only after I read it the correct way... Which resulted in my brain seeing "Chevron gives residents near fracking explosion explosion free pizza", and thinking how nice it was of them to compensate for all of the explosions by offering pizza without any.
My favorite part of the game is the utter callousness of it all. He literally bashed the skull off of the guy, sliced the brain stem, karate-chopped the lid off of the jar, and dropped the brain in. And that counts as finished.
The fact that you can go in with a hammer and just flail about inside the ribcage for a few seconds while the entire contents of his torso empties in a torrent of bone and flesh is just hilarious to me... I will have to check out more speed run videos.
I dunno, I kinda think they look like the ancient race of aliens from the movie Fifth Element... But I DO like the word frumpy.
This was the best comment I have read this year. Very informative. A++++ Would read again.

Also Fridays, 4:50 PM, 3 day weekend.
Let us not forget the tragedy of the Hekaras Corridor, go green!
I do believe OP is mentioning the "Good Shepherd" episode of ST:Voyager. I know it is the only thing I have been thinking about this whole time.

You can do amazing things with statistics.
Percentage of human deaths on Earth: 100%
Percentage of human deaths on the Sun: 0%

(and suddenly this comment got way more serious and allusory than I intended)
And way more awesome.
I wish I could join in on this, but apparently this was posted 5 days ago. Mega sad face.

As it should. SMBC is just as funny as XKCD, and he posts more often!

She had like 3 different modes of transportation though, not just 1.

I hope you realize that you only mentioned bad things about this game.
