I think not. Turntables (Technics 1200's anyone?)are selling like crazy right now, and there are literally hundreds of new tracks released only on vinyl every month.
Aside from the obvious 'Read Joseph Campbell' answer, its also because of the essentially fascist world view of fantasy.
They are generally stories about a small cadre of 'chosen ones' that usually overthrow the corrupt and weak government of their native land, and attempt to restore their race's past glory by leading a war of conquest against a degenerate, evil race of sub-humans.
Actually, if they have a lot of UK/2Step Garage artists like Craig David and 2Step, I'm suprised they had a bad year. UK Garage is probably going to blow up big this year outside of England, and those guys are among the best. If you don't know what Garage is, its basically everything good about R&B, Drum and Bass and House music, all smashed together.
There's some evidence that Stranger was Heinlein's attempt to re-interpret Alastair Crowley's philosophy/mythology in a sci-fi context. I don't know if I buy it, as it sounds like conspiracy theory nonsense, but its fun to think about.
Here is an interesting if not particularly well-written article about it.

I like how the author compares 'Thou Art God' to Thelema:
Do what thou wilt is the whole of law.
Love is the Law, Love under Will.
Every Man and Woman is a Star.
In other words, there is no moral authority other than our own divine will.
Heinlein was almost definitely aware of Crowley's work, as he was good friends with L Ron Hubbard who was involved in the California branch of Crowley's OTO.

It's a multi-page message with lots of redundancy. They define all of the symbols in greater detail on another page.
Except that Pearl Harbor wasn't a suprise.
Here's an article about the history/development of garage by the author of Generation Ecstasy http://members.aol.com/blissout/2step.htm

Catholic has a meaning other than the religious one. It means 'universal' or 'general'.
The EU is a closed job market, but what about Asia and Eastern Europe, do they have any restrictions on foreigners working there?
Did MSNBC post a report for every Love Bug variant or only the ones that promote rival operating systems?
