do you actually doubt that that's what they want to do? you might disagree with what defines great, you might disagree with how to get there... but i don't think anyone could actually reasonably argue that anyone in a 'maga' hat at one of those rallies didn't want the best for america.

i'm with her... yes? no? i don't really know because i don't know where that woman stands... and i should because I should have access, as an american, to every unclassified email she sent as secretary of state :)

if there's a reason people overestimate the rates of sexual assault in this country... well there's someone to blame for that too.

    i wonder who.

the fact is. you draw the line somewhere, the because if you give an inch, it's an excuse to ask for another fucking inch. and bathrooms, yes they're trivial, but you know what's not?

blowing apart the female category in sports, for title 9 purposes... hey, if you just wanted to go back to men dominating all sports and no women's counterparts... all you had to do was ask?

the next step is some assholes complaining that it's discrimination that I don't want to date a transexual. because to paraphrase jordan peterson... 'individual sexual discrimination/monogamy is the ultimate discrimination, and that fights coming within 5 years, squaring that with sexual assault will be a difficult one' nothing within their philosophy prevents that from being a valid stance.

  11. how much climate change will kill us?

the earth has been significantly warmer than it is today. and significantly cooler.

shore lines change? and? does that mean people can't move?

do you think we'll have global famine? this is very quick for a geologic timescale, and even a generational timescale... but we live on neither of those. as it warms, certainly some arable farmland will become less suitable. but does that mean that new land will not open up? can we perhaps farm canada? it wouldn't be terribly hard to conquer them, and then we get all that juicy juicy new non-permafrost land for food.

water and weather? some might argue that warmer temperatures will lead to more precipitation, and lucky for us, we need more water. hurricanes bad, but it's not like we don't already have those. the world will be slightly more dangerous and in the meantime we'll keep innovating at a pace that isn't hampered by our lack of energy.

unless you feel like opening up nuclear, that'd certainly be acceptable to a lot of people.
