    Thalidomide was studied for 3 years by German scientists, including animal testing. Ooops, the effect on developing fetuses was overlooked, with disastrous results. Also remember that during the 1970's, some were proposing sprinkling coal on the polar ice caps because they feared a new ice age was coming. Hubris can be very dangerous.

  2. I had the good fortune to meet Clyde Tombaugh twice. It would be interesting to know what he would think if he were still alive.

  4. I knew Max Ary many years ago. All he was guilty of was poor record keeping. Even several astronauts testified on his behalf, but to no avail.

  5. When the posts about the Clinton body count first started, I ignored it, but now, I expect a large number of questionable "suicides." Heads will roll.

    He was a sweet-looking baby, also. http://pix.avaxnews.com/avaxne... There was a science fiction show (can't remember which one) in which they go back in time and switch out baby Adolf, only to find they have made a terrible mistake. I do not trust the government with any information that is not absolutely required. As I remember, the TSA swore up and down that body scan images would not be saved and shared. We all know how well that turned out.
