I'm not sure... I vaguely remember reading about this in Next Gen, back before Fate of Atlantis came out. The designer was saying, early on, Lucas or whoever saw the game and decided it was too close to a script that was likely to be used for the next Indy movie, so they had to go with something completely different. I don't remember if that meant the script was unrelated the Atlantis, or if they just had to change the plot around, but I think it was the former. I threw out my Next Gen back issues, unfortunately. Maybe it was Game Developer.
